Worker's Compensation Specialty Evaluator - Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Worker's Compensation Specialty Evaluator, you will be
responsible for performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning
Evaluations, as needed. You will travel within the region to the clinics when
needed. You will also be responsible for performing peer reviews and active
audits for prospective specialty program clients. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). This is a full-time, float position.

What You’ll Need:
· Physical Therapist Assistant License
· Previous experience with Worker’s Compensation recommended but not required
What You’ll Do:
· Perform worker’s compensation active peer review to monitor worker’s compensation progression, monitor documentation and assure all scripts are correct, monitor completion and delivery of weekly status report and monitor charges
· Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations as needed - PTAs can perform specialty evaluations under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, who remains actively involved in the process. PTAs conduct assessments while the therapist ensures accuracy and oversees clinical decisions, ensuring appropriate patient care
· Perform onsite services within the scope of each individual’s state licensure
· Verbally report significant information or changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate therapist immediately
· Assist with the maintenance of patient medical records and maintain patient confidentiality
· Travel as required
